ABOUT ME
Jana Bunkus, Mg.sc.comm.
Scientific degree (Mg.sc.comm.) – professional master’s degree in public relations, qualification: head of a public relations department. On the way to higher educational heights – Ph.D. in communication management.
Founder and manager of the communications company “J.B. Spark Communication”. More than 20 years of experience in communications and public relations, most of which is working in local governments and the non-governmental sector, but in recent years also with companies, institutions and organizations. She is involved as a communications expert in various communication-related issues and projects. Head of the Communication Direction of the Faculty of Business Administration of the Business School “Turība”, Acting Head of the Department of Communication Sciences. Director of the study programs “International Communication Management” and “Public Relations”. Mentor of the Mentor Association of the Turība University.
Long-time member of the Latvian Association of Public Relations Professionals, and in recent years also a board member.
Lecturer at several other universities.
